Anna Nicole Smith:  “Jesus Makes You Happy”:  Her Confession of Faith?

    Bookmark and Share

Truthfully, it just makes me more confused after watching this video.  But here’s the good news.  I didn’t know Anna Nicole’s heart.  God is the only one who knows that.  (God is also probably the only one who knows the father of her baby, but that’s another story).  smile And I’m glad that I’m not the one in charge of anyone’s eternal judgement.

Here’s the video. Anna starts talking about faith about two minutes in.

The guy interviewing her is having a tough time.  My favorite part is around the 4:24 point in the video.  Anna Nichole is talking about her dress.  Watch the interviewer’s eyes.  smile

You might as well get used to it because this story is not going away any time soon. Over the weekend, Danny sent me this link to a YouTube video where Anna Nicole Smith professes Jesus as her "Lord and Savior". It seems to go well with our post here last week from Steve Sjogren about making judgements...

Officially, we have no comment on this…

      That is an amazing video.

Maybe our eternal desitination has absolutely nothing to do with “how we act”, and everything to do with God’s act for us on the cross.  Personally, I can’t wait to see Anna in heaven (I’ll try not to stare when I do! http://www.mondaymorninginsight.com/images/smileys/wink.gif

i didn’t watch the video, but every time I see a story about this young lady (I am past 50) I cringe. Not because of her but because how we (in the this nation) have treated her. She was an accident waiting to happen and apparently we thought that was entertaining. Albert Mohler had a great post on his blog about this issue.

I have the same reaction to Brittany Spears. I am not a fan but we are watching the deconstruction of a person before our eyes, and it is not entertainment. If something does not change with her we will be reading about her eath as well.

Hope her confession that Jesus was her Lord and Savior was authentic. I know only God sees the heart, but seeing the fruits of the life she lived on this earth, by way of the media, is sad. My hope is her name was truly written in the Lamb’s book of Life.

I must amdit that I have never seen her movies in my country. But, whatever she has done on or off the screen, I think it’s not for us to judge. Paul said very clearly about such confession, as well as pracrsing one’s belief as mentioned by Peter in his letters to the Church.

But, let us up her for just a few seconds in our prayer so that Anna will truly find strenght to live out her faith.

After all Jesus is the ONLY answer to our broken (to say it mildly) world.

      Kee it up Anna.

LOL!! too funny - he talks like he has brain damage…

I really don’t want to judge here - and I have no idea if what she said is authentic - only God truly knows that. However, by the answers she was giving, and the way she was giving them, it seemed to me that she knows “the talk” and was saying what she thought she was supposed to say. It was too akward and too generic.

In my line of work, I deal with people all the time who want to make you believe something and they say anything to get what they want. Many of these people are drug seekers and alcoholics - which, sadly, she fit the mold for.

Once again, while I cannot judge her heart - from my experience, I was not convinced.

Hummmm.  Interesting how people can get different impressions… I actually thought just the opposite - I felt she was very authentic.

She’s obviously drunk, by the slurring of her words… He’s obviously high from the look in his eyes and the stupid grin he’s wearing…

Funny - she doesn’t seem drunk to me, and it seems like she’s speaking pretty normal.   He’s kind of weird though.
