Another Outrageous Church Lip Synching Incident Caught on Tape

It just keeps getting uglier and uglier in the church world. Last week I told you about my ongoing MMI investigation into lip synching worship teams. Well, check out this unbelievable example sent into me from a church in upstate New York:

While that’s really, really funny, I’m pretty sure that guy’s not leading worship. It looks more like some kind of church musical production.

This happened to me once while preaching… I was doing an Andy Stanley sermon with my one point and all and the music stand behind me fell and without even knowing it I finished a Joel Osteen sermon. I was so embarrassed I decided I would just tell everyone it was the Holy Spirit. leading me to channel a different pastor.

Leonard, please tell me you are joking…If not why don’t you try and preach some of your own material for a chance. And if you can’t because you already confessed to using Stanley and Osteen which leads me to believe you have absolutely no training, go to seminary or Bible school and get a proper education in order that you can properly exegete the text. Hopefully you didn’t water down or sugar coat Joel’s message, because he already water downs the Good News enough.
