Those questions rates right up there with the profound theological question: “Did Adam have a belly-button?” My first theology professor didn’t see the humor in that question when I asked him….

First off this seems more like the scripting of someone who is interested in mocking the church through children actors rather than how kids actually voice legitimate questions about God.
Secondly there are questions of sincere concern and then there are the sort designed solely as a trap. These seemed to be all the Pharisees and Teachers of the Law could think to ask Jesus.
I prefer Jesus� usual modus operandi of turning the tables and instead asking a question which would penetrate the motives of those who ask only to trap.
But if there is a lesson in this, perhaps it is we should think of a way now (before we are put on the spot) to explain the nature of the gospel and the character of Christ to those who would ask. Could you explain Jesus and his work to a stranger? a co-worker? a neighbor? or a child with an unusually high vocabulary and an English accent?
