Sorry, but how is it that TD Jakes gets invited to these things? He is a modalist and denies the Trinity. That’s clearly a heresy and puts him outside the bounds of orthodox Christianity.

CS….This conference isn’t about the Gospel or about Jesus Christ or about the Church….it is only about man. This is why a heretic like TD Jakes gets invited. I have a video of the ARC conference in Baton Rouge and what was taught in this gathering left me with my jaw agape! These conferences are all about making “your” church great. Making “your” church famous in your community or state or even country.
“It’s a pure leadership experience..” Yes there are many being “led”...this I am sure!
They will tell stories of the “Gospel being lived out.” In other words, look at all the nice things we are doing in the community hoping they will ask us how they can get saved! In the mean time, ABC Church gets all the credit and glory for the “good works” because they make sure the media is there to write the story. It’s getting old.

Looks like a great line-up. I love the theme: “tension.” I also love the broad spectrum of speakers which will be heard and the unique diversity of experiences, sizes and voices from all walks of Christianity. Here’s to not being afraid of a little tension!
