Leadership Network has just released a new concept paper entitled: "Clearing the Hurdles: Overcoming Obstacles in Recovery Ministry" by Meagan Taylor. Meagan highlights three principal areas that affect the success of a recovery ministry: the sponsoring church, the recovery ministry itself and the larger community. She also addresses the obstacles that exist in each of these areas, such as stigma attached to the ministry, lack of volunteer leaders and difficulty attaining community backing. Churches are successfully overcoming these barriers and are finding strategies that help them thrive in each circumstance. Read on to learn more about these exciting breakthroughs going on in Recovery Ministry.

You can download this new resource FOR FREE here.  (You’ll need to register, which is also free, if you’ve not downloaded LN resources before… but after you register once, you can download an entire library of concept papers, research reports, PODcasts, and more)
