Willow Creek Association recently released a list of "Faces to Watch for 2008". Who's on the list, and why should you watch them? Take a look here and let me know who's on your 'faces to watch' list? Who are the new communicators that you think we'll all be looking up to and listening to more in 2008? (By the way, I think they made good choices for their list...)
Here are their six faces to watch:
1. Mark Batterson
2. Nelson Searcy
3. Perry Noble
4. Dave Ferguson
5. Tullian Tchividjian
6. Efrem Smith
You can read the article here...
Who would you add to your list?

I don’t want to come across the wrong way, but the faces I’m watching in 2008 are those of the volunteers serving in my local church and what they will do to make an impact for members and visitors this year.
Sounds sappy, but it is true.
James, that is not sappy but it is also not the point.

How about whoever fills the huge teaching void at willow? Who knows who that might be?
Troy Gramling, Flamingo Road Church

not sure who I’d knock off the list, but he belongs on it.
Rick McKinley, Imago Dei Community, Portland, OR. I don’t know if he’ll ever be a major speaker at conferences because I think he (and the elders at IDC) is more interested in ensuring that what’s happening at home is the right stuff. But if you get a chance to hear him speak, listen. He’s humble, honest, real...and speaks truth.
I was a little surprised that Craig Groschel was not on the list He continues to lead Life Church in innovative ways. I have enjoyed being a part of the vision here at Life Church.
