Well, it's the new year... time for Pat Robertson to give us the report from his one-on-one with God on what will be happening this year.
First, the good news. God said that the country's economy will recover. (Whew!) But the bad news is that the people will 'welcome socialism in order to relieve their pain". According to Pat, this will be the 'largest transfer of power to Washington since the 1930s.
Other things to look forward to: For Israel, the news is good since the Lord will uphold His people. Bad: Hyper-inflation; the value of the dollar will go through the floor: "The Lord said the dollar is going to go down dramatically... if I'm hearing Him right, gold will go to about $1900 an ounce and oil to $300 a barrel" in 2009.
You might remember that Robertson nailed 2008 with his prediction of a world-wide recession and a stock market crash. But in 2007, Robertson predicted mass killing ("The Lord didn't say nuclear, but I do believe it will be something like that.")

Post Your Comments:I didn’t bother with the video, but reading the text… wow… Pat might be pretty right this time…
Unfortunately, I have to apply Deuteronomy 18:21-22 to his often-recurring prophecies:
“And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?
When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that [is] the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, [but] the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.”
Sorry, but in 2006 with the Hurricanes That Never Came and 2007 without the mass killings, I think I had enough of listening to him. Blind squirrel finding nuts and all for 2008.
Now, I will omit verse 20 for the sake of being nice. =)

I have to agree CS. Though, how right on he was in 08 may have made him a little overzealous in his multitude of predictions this year. I am going to be ticked if the whole $300 per barrel thing happens!
