FOR DISCUSSION: What is the percentage of your church’s staff budget compared to your overall church budget? Did you fit into the average range?
Are you spending too much of our budget for staff compensation and benefits? When this question surfaces, the follow up question is often, "How much do other churches our size spend on their staff compensation and benefits. A 2006 SBC compensation study posed that question. They asked nearly 6,000 churches about what their overall budget is and how much they spend on staffing.
