Help Make This Pastor’s Dream Come True

Help Make This Pastor’s Dream Come True

So... Good Morning America is having this "Living the Dream" contest.  Thousands of people from across the country entered a video telling what their dream was.  Pastor Mark Wilkins entered his video as well, and is one of the four finalists.  Now you and I can help him win!

    What was Pastor Mark's dream?

Well, the self-admitted 'pudgy, bald, middle-aged, midwestern' pastor's dream:  to be on stage with Alice Cooper.

Mark serves as pastor of Crown Point United Methodist Church in Crown Point, IN.  Take a look at his video entry:

Here's what you need to do... simply vote below...  And then tweet or blog about this.  Tell your friends and have them vote as well.  Let's make Pastor Mark's dream come true!

If the voting gadget doesn't work below, you can vote by going here...

You can check out the other three finalists here.  They're all pretty lame... someone wants to be on THE VIEW; someone wants to be a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, yada yada yada.

Perhaps it's always been your dream to be on stage with Alice Cooper.  Well, at least you could live out your fantasy through Pastor Mark.  Vote now!

(as of this morning, there were only 613 votes.  Come on, people, we can rock this vote!)

I heard Alice Cooper talking recently about how he loves listening to guys like RC Sproul.  I can’t help but get a kick out of that.

I was going to vote for him until I saw the video.  That was really sad.

This guy was rough…I agree with you Jimmy…was going to vote for him until seeing video repeating himself 100 times about “making his decade”...that is rough.  I was depressed by this guy’s supposed “great life”.

You all have my admiration for even being able to suffer through the entire vid. If this is his best, most important dream of a lifetime, I think he needs to change his anti-depression medicine. “When I was a child ...”

BTW, I think I’ve been in mid-life crisis since I was about 20. Does that count toward anything?

Is this guy joking or what.  Alice Cooper is his hero and he is supposed to be a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  It has to be a monday morning insight joke.
