How Generation Y is Going to Change the Web (and the Church)

This is a really interesting article.  You can read it, in its fully glory, right here.

I’m already seeing some of these things start to play out in the church world.  How about you?

Here's a great article over at ReadWriteWeb. According to the article, "Gen Y is taking over. The generation of young adults that's composed of the children of Boomers, Generation Jones, and even some Gen X'ers, is the biggest generation since the Baby Boomers and three times the size of Gen X. As the Boomers fade into retirement and Gen Y takes root in the workplace, we're going to see some big changes ahead, not just at work, but on the web as a whole." I think we could reasonably argue that this group of young people will change many things about the church as well. Here are some of the things the article suggests about this generation:

    1. They are plugged in.
    2. TV isn't king.
    3. They don't care about your ad. They care about what their friends think.
    4. Work is not their whole world.
    5. They are socially conscious.
