I’m Back… here was the culprit

    Bookmark and Share

Regardless, about half way through, I really thought that I should have told one of my family members what I was up to.  If I would have fallen, no one probably would have found me for hours.  Anyway, as you can see… my adventure was successful, and I am now up and running.

Life was so much easier in 1982.

    Its good to be back.

    Have a great one!

    Todd

Well... as you can see... I'm back from my blogging hiatus. If you look at the picture, you can see the culprit. Let me explain. The picture is from my back yard. The long horizontal antenna you see to the right of my TV tower is my wireless internet receiver. When my section of Ohio got pounded with the ice storm earlier this week, about a half an inch of ice accumulated all around my internet's antenna. So, after three days of no connection whatsoever, I decided to take decisive action. Yes, that's right... I climbed the (also icy) TV antenna, and found that my roof was also covered in ice. So... with one foot on the icy TV antenna, and the other foot straddled across to my ice-covered roof, I did what any man would do... I took my ten foot pole that I use to clean the bottom of my pool, and (with one arm) attempted to remove the ice from my internet antenna that's about 8 feet above my roof. Oh, did I mention that the ice covered antenna was directly above my head while I was knocking the ice off of it? (Falling shards of ice tend to hurt when they hit one's head, especially when straddled between a tv tower and a roof)...

1982 was a hard year for me, bro…

what, no picture of you actually doing this, some kind of video with you in a cape and mask would have been a great I M BACK…

Glad your back Todd and glad your not lying on the ground with a 10 foot pole and a sharp piece of ice sticking out your ice hole.

That’s the kind of dedication the personnel committee on this website.expects out of you.  When we do your annual review, you may receive an encouraging pat on the back, but don’t expect hazardous duty pay. That’s for the finance committee to decide, and we’re not talking to them right now.

I had a picture of Chevy Chase and Christmas lights when you described your adventure.

Glad you are okay… I was waiting for the punchline “And now I’m typing this from my hospital bed. Traction really isn’t all that bad.”

Oh bishopdave? Did you notice that Todd said he used the 10 foot pole he uses to clean the bottom of his POOL?

We need to gather the members of the personnel committee ASAP.

Clearly he’s living too rich of a lifestyle for this group.

      Happy Friday, Todd!

Holy cow!  No one is noticing the size of that “TV Tower”?!?!?  I used to have a TV tower.  It looked kind of like this:   http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o254/hopechapel/41D3MY08BJL_AA280_.jpg

I’m not sure if I should say, “my hero” or “ARE YOU CRAZY?”  Anyway, I’m glad you’re back and didn’t take a dive off your roof into you pool.

I just planned a ministry trip to Upstate New York and then on to Maine in a couple of weeks.   Looks like I’m the one that needs to ask myself…“ARE YOU CRAZY?”

Well, I am happy you have returned, safe and secure.

I lived in south Ohio much of my young life.

I remember some very bad winter storms.  Stay inside dude.  http://www.mondaymorninginsight.com/images/smileys/smile.gif
