umm…wow…I wonder is Merna is a “Low Talker”. Merry Christmas!

What’s the younger lady looking at off camera the whole time? The exit, maybe?

When I was a student pastor in Kentucky, we had what was called the “fifth Sunday hymn sing” at the evening service. Many came to sing “specials”. Several of them could not carry a tune if you put it in a bucket, but that didn’t matter. They loved Jesus and the people loved them.
I’m guessing you didn’t post this video because you know these ladies love Jesus and you love them. I urge you to take it down since the two comments before mine are not exactly complimentary.

Hey Will, didn’t mean any harm there. The Low Talker comment was a seinfeld reference. Just saying if you’re singing about Merry Christmas or happy Christmas on a TV show (public), just maybe your face should show it. Peace…aj

Hey Alan, my remarks were actually aimed at Todd. I just wonder why we think we need to ridicule others. I do, however, appreciate your humble spirit. Thanks.

I have to say…
...this is why if you have a kid who can’t sing… be honest… tell ‘em they can’t, so that they can spend their time finding out what God DID make them able to do instead of chasing after what he DIDN’T make them able to do…

This video should be taken down. It has no place here. The only reason it could have been posted is to have some “fun” at the expense of someone else. I’m glad that Jesus can see past my off key and sometimes joyless attitude of my heart and love me anyway.

Will,
This video represents a public TV broadcast. It probably should have never been broadcast, but as a lesson to try to authentically guide people in their gifting, rather than just telling people they can sing when they can’t, however amusing or humiliating, it stands, imho.

Peter, but why is it posted here, if not for purposes of ridicule?
Peter Hamm on Tue, November 24, 2009
Because some days I just need a good belly laugh to make it through another day of the 5th most stressful job in our society. And that did it… Thanks, Todd.
btw, anytime I can be a source of humor for any of you, regardless of how ridiculous it makes me look, I’m good with it!

Forgive me this is sounds ‘cold’ but funny is funny… If something is funny, it’s just plain old funny. It might be embarrassing, it might be risque (please add an accent mark over the ‘e’) but funny is funny.
