Hubby and I have been very open about the five of us possibly leaving G-town, Texas and our current church body. Sunday I was told by a very loving and gracious woman, “Honey! They better like your husband and your sons because you’re just one of the strangest people I’ve ever known. Make sure they know you’re part of the package.” Life is rich…

This is very cool, Todd. Definitely praying for all who might just be connected as a result.

Okay, I think I’d better have a talk with my son.  I think I’ve just found out why his ministry search is slow to take off.

I take it your son is ‘blindly loyal’, Andy?

      Camey,

A lot of folks don’t think that way. We’re lucky that they did here at my church. I was half-tempted to think, when they interviewed US that they liked my wife more than me. Which would be wise,  because I like my wife a LOT more than me…

      Peter,

You are blessed that they did. Bet your wife would say she likes you A LOT better than her. Too sweet.

That’s one thing we’ve had to explain to people about us. Our whole family (five of us) are in ministry. It’s not just a vocation for me, hubby or Austin (our sixteen-year-old). We’re what we call lifestyle missionaries. “As you go…..” And we’re unashamed to be His servants.

You, my brother, were just given thanks for.

Uh, not exactly!  But he’s learning not to say EVERYTHING he thinks.  http://www.mondaymorninginsight.com/images/smileys/grin.gif
