      Blasphemous?  Yep.

      Sacrilegious?  Yep

      Entertaining goats?  Yep.

And then we wonder why no one treats the Christian faith seriously.  Or, is it art imitating life in this situation?  Either way, it’s horrible.

Love Pastor Shepherd.  Big supporter of his Prayer Hour show.

      Mmmmm… sacrilicious.

@CS Correct me if I’m wrong, but this guy is trying to satirize televangelists - a righteous goal, don’t you think?

      Ryan:

I can appreciate satirizing televangelists.  I’m reminded of Charleton Heston on SNL doing his, “I’m a false prophet first, an entertainer second,” gag, which was very funny.

But when the name of Christ is dragged in the mud so much as a part of the routine, that’s where I get uneasy.  It cuts a little too close to home.

Then again, maybe this is satire on a completely different level and I’m being oversensitive.  I’d be willing to admit fault there.

      I didn’t end up laughing…

Thanks Todd.  That was hilarious!!!  Maybe we should see this as a wake up call.  To many church leaders are just this same way.  Sad but true.  Maybe…...(the following comment is going to cause people to think I am crazy) we should see this as something like a prophet.  Exposing us for who we really are.  Just a thought.  A funny thought.

      Loved the Maserati joke.

      :-D

was that supposed to be funny?

I thought it was really funny. I laughed out loud when he held up the second picture of his proposed jet plane. I think it’s a very entertaining satire on how we Christians and Christian leaders lose focus (and sometimes don’t even realize we have).
