    This Stinks on Ice!

Well, my part of Ohio got hit by the massive ice storm yesterday, so my main internet connection is down from all the ice buildup. (I'm now using my cell phone connection to update this post, which works, though at a much slower rate than my high speed connection). Anyway, I'm gonna postpone the regular MMI email and update until tomorrow morning. In the meantime, let's keep New Life Church in our prayers as they deal with the shootings and two killings that occurred after their services yesterday. Remember their senior pastor, Brady Boyd, during this time as well. I can't imagine the stress he's under in the past few months. Remember the YWAM people and families as well. I'll be back as soon as my connection allows! Todd.

Should have put in the thermal couplers Scotty.

I saw online that a gay news website described the shootings as happening at two anti gay ministries.  Implying that may be why the shootings happened.

Thanks for letting us know Todd.

      Definitely praying!

Any others with prayer requests today?

      I certainly will be praying!

Praying for all of you and the shooting victims.

That’s really sad Danny. Not sure how they get away with that stuff.

I’ve appreciated the ministry of YWAM so much and we were very saddened to hear this news.

Praying that God will turn what was meant for evil, into good.

We must definitely keep praying as more and more details become made known.

And, of course, keep on praying about all those affected by the heavy winter weather.

Let’s lift our hopeful voices Church!

The violence all around should be a definite wake-up call for churches to have an emergency response plan in place. I pray that more will consider that and act accordingly.

      Garrick,

Absolutely agree with you. And it is great to see you here again!

      Todd,

We got hit by a bad ice storm back in 2005, and were without power for five days, so I really sympathize with what you’re going through!!  It’s not fun!!  Hope you get up and running soon!
