Go go go! On the other hand, my cynical side wants to know how many of those plants will survive the next decade. I’ve seen too many churches planted without enough forethought…

It’s great to see some focus on this important area, and encouraging to hear about churches that are helping to plant cross-denominationally. I’m currently reading Bob Roberts book, Transformation (2005?), after having heard him at a retreat this spring. (I highly recommend it.) He readily admits that a number of the churches that Northwood has planted have not survived. Without focusing too much attention in the book on looking at why they failed, it is nonetheless clear that they continue to learn from the process…both the failures and successes.

This is some great research from Ed…and you’re going to be reading some more good research from him in the near future as he joins Lifeway. Concerning this article, I couldn’t be more supporting of this type of recording “wins”. Also…it should be noted that Bob Roberts church would probably be listed even higher in the multiplication rating if we had a crystal ball to gauge impact in the future based on the global seeds they’re planting today. Good stuff.

By our God’s grace and blessings, a Church named as the “CHURCH OF BLESSINGS”, is being conducted every Sunday at D-109/4, Indira Nagar, Lucknow. We began this gathering with a very low profile, initially with only 3 families as members in the year 1999 and we grew upto a strength of 60 families till date. To further expand our ministry, we were blessed with a “Thursday Evening Prayer Gathering”, which is being conducted regularly at H.No. 758, Sector 14, Indira Nagar, Lucknow. Special Prayer meetings are also being conducted for “Healing” as well. Our church is actively trying to meet the needs of young people today. More than ever, young people need to be guided in the path that God would want them to walk. We are a soul winning church. One of our goals is to reach our community with the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ for that we Started Publishing “CHRIST’S BLESSINGS” Magazine is a small initiative to reach out and win many other souls by sharing people’s testimony and the Word of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
