Here are the 10 questions to ask yourself. Guy has some answers/comments at his site…
1. Question: Which comes first: big ego or success? That is, it takes a big ego to be successful or you start with a normal ego, somehow achieve success, and then get a big ego?
2. Question: The opening line of your book is, “Ego is the invisible line item on every company’s profit and loss statement.” Why is it invisible?
3. Question: What are the telltale signs of an over-inflated ego?
4. Question: Then what is a “healthy” ego?
5. Question: How can humility survive in a capitalistic, “dog-eat-dog” market?

Yes, yes... I know, I'm writing to pastors. And all pastors have their egos in check, right? Riigghhtt! But really, I've met an egomaniac pastor or two in my day; and really, the ego is something that many in ministry have to constantly keep in check through self-discipline, prayer, and the counsel of others. Guy Kawasaki had a great review and interview of the author of the book "Egonomics" over at his blog recently. It's worth a read.
