Men of Jesus offer “I Love My Hot Wife” T-Shirts (for real)

You've heard many a preacher tweet about how hot their wife is... now you can wear the t-shirt!

According to the "Men of Jesus" website:

You’ve found much more than just a cool t-shirt. Men of Jesus is a network of Christian men committed to influencing our world for Christ. We are a real organization with real goals and we’re quickly becoming the #1 online community for Christian men. We hope you take a few minutes to join us.  While you’re here learn about how you can get involved in our online forums and our online Bible studies.

QUESTION:  How does a "I love my hot wife" t-shirt accomplish influencing the world for Christ?  Just wondering.

ANSWER:  While those look like my beefy arms in the t-shirt, I did not model (or give permission) for my upper torso to be used in this marketing campaign. (Although my wife is smokin' hot).

PS -- If you really want one... they are $14.99 and available here.

PPS -- I'd much rather order the "I spade my dog" t-shirt (which is also true).  (OK, well, not me, personally).

I am truly pleased, Ron, that you are a man who is “pure in heart”
[in the biblical sense] and that you see not a thing wrong in
defining your wife as “hot”.  This, however, is a term that most people, including many Christians, would associate solely with the temperature of the body and its outward manifestations in the
very act of physical love-making.  Because of that, Christians
specifically, feel very uncomfortable and somewhat embarrassed with this designation and its implied connotation. Surely there
has to be a better way to emphasize spiritual compatibility and
one’s attraction to his spouse, as a total precious being!

Here is how I feel about this:

There are LOTS of things that world views in a twisted manner—should I bend to their ever beckoning call and say, “well if the world thinks this way about it, then I have to change the way I do this.”  Your definition of “hot” George, as great as it sounds, is not what I think of when I hear that word.  Even as a lost person, I didn’t think of it that way—AND I WAS REALLY IMMORAL.  Anyway, way not put some scriptures on there.  I can think of some verses from Song of Songs that would make this shirt seem like nothing—and those are divinely inspired by God Himself.

Are there other ways to say this?  Of course there are!  Is there a particular reason why this shirt is used this way?  Yes!  It promotes Christian marriage.  We are commanded to love our wives, not just deal with them.  But I will say this—this is probably a “food sacrificed to idols” issue.  If I ever meet you George, I wouldn’t wear the shirt in front of you or any other of my brothers and sisters that thought badly of it.  But, in all other situations, I could wear it as I pleased.  (lol…I don’t own this shirt though cause I am not married…but when I do get married, I’ll buy a bunch of them).

Also, there is a VERY godly women that I showed the shirt to—she thought it was adorable and said, “I hope my future husband would wear that shirt.”  this woman absolutely loves the Lord, too!

Umm guys not to let the wind out of anyone’s sails here but I think it’s a direct shot at the “I love Hot Moms” thing. That makes it pretty funny.

I have a good bumper sticker I would like to process. How do I go about doing that? And, what can I do so that no one else can take my idea of my bumper sticker?
