KJV Only Preacher Tazed at Border Patrol:  You Can’t Make This Stuff Up!

Remember this guy? Well, this week he had a little altercation with the border patrol. So, now I guess we can add the border patrol to list of those people this preacher doesn't like (Perry Noble, and men who pisseth sitting down are also on his list).

Here's the CNN report on this incident.

This might be the only time allowable by scripture to pisseth sitting down. I'm just saying that tazer might do that. (Thanks to @kentshaffer for the heads up on this one!)

He is guilty of irritating people.  They are guilty of assault and battery and should receive severe penalties.  One skinny guy who offers no physical resistance and doesn’t even curse and they need to taze him repeatedly and beat him bloody?  It was just recreational torture.

Anderson deserves a large financial settlement.

      Kevan,

Until you hear their side, you can’t assume it was “recreational torture.”  I agree it seems it may have been a bit much, but I definitely have no issue with the tazer.  At that point they have no choice but to assume that he is hiding something.  So he hasn’t cursed and looks skinny.  If he doesn’t want you in his car that badly, for their own safety they have to assume the worst reaction which I’m sure that they’ve received.  That’s kinda their job.  Next time they try not to hurt anyone in the process and that will be the guy who had a gun on him waiting for them to bust it.

Excessive force - not ok.  Force - necessary.  The question is where the line is.

i’m with Bobby- I have thought all along that he looks like Jack from Lost.  I’m just sayin’.  Maybe he should have stayed on the Island…

This is appalling.  This man’s Constitutional rights of unreasonable search and seizure have clearly been trashed.  It doesn’t matter if he’s a flake or not, which some of the responses seem to indicate; because unalienable rights are the issue here.

This is another example of why we must control our borders and stop this illegal immigration invasion.  The authories won’t stop them at the borders by securing our borders, so they move into the interior and sweeps catch the average American citizen and treat them as possible law breakers.  When our Representatives refuse to enforce the laws, these types of situations are too often the outcome.

I hope this man sues every one of the agents who did this; he was certainly mistreated.  I’ve seen murders handled with more care and consideration than this man.  The irritating part of this situation is that if he was a minority, there would be dozens of Civil Rights Attorneys standing in line to represent him, but as a caucasian male he’s going to have to pursue this himself.

This guy may be the “idiot” everyone is saying he is. I have never seen or heard of him before. However, I am appalled at the ignorance and faulty reasoning that is abundant on this comment stream. “Just let them search the vehicle if you’ve got nothing to hide.” Chuck Colson has pointed out on many different occasions that nations decline when individual rights are surrendered in the name of security. In other words, “If I have done nothing wrong, then they can trample my rights all day long in search of the real bad guys.” Wake up people.

Kevan says “Anderson deserves a large financial settlement.”

Maybe that is exactly what he was looking for?

For all you (expletive deleted) that think his rights were violated, do you not want the Border Patrol to search vehicles crossing the border?

Come on people, it is not the beginnings of a Police Sate to secure our borders and search people and/or vehicles crossing the border.  They didn’t come to this man’s house and search it illegally, they didn’t stop him on the street in Middletown, USA, he was crossing the border.

Would you prefer that the Border Patrol just said OK and let anyone who refuses a search just go on their merry way?

While he was not particularly combative or threatening he did refuse a legal request to search his vehicle and he did refuse obey a lawful directive to get out of his vehicle.  He provoked the response he got and he deserved the response he got.
