Nix leaves a wife, Beth, and two children they adopted from Russia as toddlers, who are now seven, Bre’Ana Alysse and Sterling Andrew.
Can you please take a moment and pray for Beth Nix and the family today? Also remember the Pollock family; and the Bell Shoals Baptist Church family as they continue to mourn their losses.

It was just three months ago that Bell Shoals Baptist Church lost their 44 year old pastor, Dr. Forrest Pollock, and his 13 year old son in a tragic plan crash. Last Sunday, Bell Shoals lost their much loved 47 year old worship pastor to a sudden heart attack.
According to a report in the Florida Baptist Witness, Simeon Nix, 47, pastor of music and worship at Bell Shoals Baptist Church in Brandon, passed away Sunday morning after suffering a heart attack at his home Aug. 16.
Nix had been at Bell Shoals Baptist Church for 13 years. In May, the beloved music leader led thousands at the church’s new worship center in a Celebration of Life service for their pastor, Forrest Pollock, and Pollock’s son, Preston, who perished in a tragic plane accident in North Carolina May 12.

Wow. Extremely sad.
Lord, I’m not even sure how to pray about this - other than that your Holy Spirit would really act as the Comforter to these families and to the church.
Please let Your love flow through the congregation in such a way that they bring an outpouring of comfort and encouragement to both families.
