Post Your Comments:What an indictment against the Church. The reporter said, “Who ever heard of a church giving money away?” Pretty sure I read about that in Acts.
At least a church showed that you don’t have to have porn advertising to make the news.

Any church that has ever helped someone, supported missons locally and abroad, give out groceries, etc. has given out money. I’m glad this got on CNN, but too bad that opening (as Carl said) indictment is the attention getter.
This church is doing things the right way when it comes to using funds to help the needs of the body and even some outside the church. As for the front indictment, I’d like to chalk it up to ignorance, because churches throughout history have done things like this. Sometimes the people in the pews don’t realize it, I’ll admit.
May God continue blessing their use of His resources.

Doesn’t the Bible have some rules about how we give/serve? You couldn’t blow the trumpet louder than nationwide TV coverage. Doesn’t it say something about not letting one hand know what the other hand is doing?
Churches need to lose their logo tshirts, business cards, and media contacts and serve people out of real concern for others. Even doing it to unify the church is a wrong motive. And please don’t let it be a case of serving people you really don’t even want to talk to or have in your home because you are ,"doing it for God!”

That is an impressive video to watch on. According to me, this church is doing the accurate job when it comes to make use of funds to facilitate the requirements of the body and yet a few external the church. 000-974 Thanks for sharing such a nice post.

For the first time I have heard that a church giving away money. Nice and interesting post.
This is a very nice move from a religious institute. More often or not these churches, mosques etc run on the donation from people, but this is a very nice example set by this Dallas Church.
