Perry Noble had a great post recently on four different types of staff members. Which one are you?

#1 - The “Love To Do” Staff Member

#2 - The “Can Do” Staff Member

#3 - The “Should Do” Staff Member

#4 - The “Won’t Do” Staff Member

You can read more here...

How does your church deal with the “Should Do” and the “Won’t Do” Staff member?

Todd

They eventually leave, one way or the other, whether they are paid staff or volunteer ministry leaders. The trick is to move them out of leadership or into different leadership gracefully. Anybody with a fool-proof method for that needs to write a book.

Peter, you’re right. Moving them isn’t the problem; it’s the gracefully part. And even when you try to do that, some people being moved aren’t real graceful either.
