HT to JollyBlogger for this one: This comes from a 1944 manual on sabotage published by the US Strategic Services. It was originally written to help people sabotage their workplace. It seems that these things would help to sabotage your church (if you ever wanted to):
(1) Insist on doing everything through “channels.” Never permit short-cuts to be taken in order to expedite decisions.
(2) Make “speeches.” Talk as frequently as possible and at great length. Illustrate your “points” by long anecdotes and accounts of per sonal experiences. Never hesitate to make a few appropriate “patriotic” comments.
(3) When possible, refer all matters to committees, for “further study and consideration.” Attempt to make the committees as large as possible — never less than five.
(4) Bring up irrelevant issues as frequently as possible.
You can read some others here...
So… if you ever would… how would you sabotage your church? Or, better yet, how have OTHERS already sabotaged your church?

I'm a chronic workaholic, love to connect leaders with other leaders, and would consider myself somewhat of a 'maven'. Hopefully you'll find something here at MMI you'll like and will return often. If you want, you can find out more about me or follow my every step.
