Job Satisfaction:  Do I have the materials and equipment that I need in order to do my work right?

Tony Morgan recently published a list that Marcus Buckingham originally came up with on measuring your job satisfaction. This is a great list, and I want to take a posts to actually dig into those one by one...

The second question is this: Do I have the materials and equipment that I need in order to do my work right?

I’d love to hear your comments… and read Tony’s original post...
You can read all of Tony’s post on this subject here…

1.  Do I know what is expected of me at work?

2.  Do I have the materials and equipment that I need in order to do my work right?

3.  At work, do I have the opportunity to do what I do best every day?

4.  In the past seven days, have I received recognition or praise for doing good work?

5.  Does my supervisor, or someone at work, seem to care about me as a person?

6.  Is there someone at work who encourages my development?

7.  At work, do my opinions seem to count?

8.  Does the mission or purpose of my company make me feel that my job is important?

9.  Are my coworkers committed to doing quality work?

10.  Do I have a best friend at work?

Do I have the materials… One of the most powerful things someone can do is be creative in how they get the materials.

Definitely don’t have the materials, but God always provides!

The reason isn’t because the people aren’t willing by the way.  We just have few resources and a lot of baby or non Christians.

I think this has given us a go for it spirit and a waiting on God mentality, which is awesome.  Yeah at times it’s very frustrating.

But I wouldn’t be anywhere else in ministry right now.  And we’ve turned down a few.
