When I first heard of the Ask anything Series, I was not too excited about it.  I like Driscoll’s expository preaching better than his topical teaching.
The series has been outstanding though..  The sermons have been well thought out and balanced.  He has tackled a lot of very hard subjects.
The live Q&A;sessions they started using Text messaging is very powerfull stuff.  These sessions show tha Mark is more than a preacher, he is also a Pastor.
The bubble suit was pretty silly.  But it is important to understand that it was meant to lighten things up.  I suspect the co-habitation rate among the congregation is very high, and Driscoll doesn’t skirt the issues..  If a little pre-announced silliness lures people to hear a (preannounced) hard core message of repentance that they need to hear, So be it.
