Todd Bentley’s Facebook Page

Just in case you can't get enough of exiled Todd Bentley, here's an interesting read... Bentley's "Official Todd Bentley Facebook Fan Page" is up and running, and being updated. What's interesting is many of the comments on "the wall". Many are very interesting: "Like everybody else here I hope you know how much God loves you and are encouraged not to give up on the church." What? Huh? What did the church do to Todd that would make him want to give up on her? Another poster asks for forgiveness from Bentley because he did not pray enough for him...

You can also check out the ‘revival’ discussion page; where Bentley himself posts a few times.

Who know if this is real or not, but it appears it is.

He’s currently moving to SC to enter some kind of restoration process.

another typical negative Todd Rhoades post.

The church has done plenty over the years to make those who fall want to never return to the church.  Lifelong friends and ministry leaders ran away from Todd like the plague when all of this went down.

Don’t you know it’s ALWAYS the church’s fault?

People are interested in Jesus, but not the church.  It’s the church’s fault.

People are gay, but feel isolated and judged.  It’s the church’s fault.

Something way-cool was introduced yesterday morning, was must-have-hot by noon, and by today it’s a golden oldie.  Tomorrow the church will adapt it, and it will be old news.  And it’s the church’s fault.

We’re reached the place where if the church does it, whatever “it” is, it is deemed irrelevant, FIRST BY US!

People can live any way they want and maintain a position of influence, credibility or leadership in church world.  And, you guessed it…

“The church has done plenty over the years to make those who fall want to never return to the church.  Lifelong friends and ministry leaders ran away from Todd like the plague when all of this went down.”

It’s more like this: Todd Bentley is a false teacher and heretic who has done tremendous damage in leading people astray.  And, when confronted for the sins he has committed of drunkenness and adultery / fornication, he has shown absolutely no remorse or Godly sorrow for what he had done.

Bentley is completely welcome to come back into the fold with repentance and faith, admitting his errors and turning away from his heretical doctrine and theological teachings.  People would welcome him with open arms and entreat him as a brother.  However, until he has yet to do so, we have to treat him like an unbeliever (in love) and not have fellowship with him.

But, should you disagree, there is a lovely fan page (as the post shows), where I’m sure you can get all of the usual Bentley-Blow-To-The-Solar-Plexus lunacy you want.

I resonate with Will’s comment about the real issue: heresy.  Grace isn’t grace without truth because it demands that we recognize we actually need it.  Crying that the church doesn’t care or isn’t adjusting to what culture deems acceptable is ridiculous---whether stated or implied.  Todd’s alleged “negative” post is not the issue.  And how did homosexuality come into the mix?  Todd should be welcomed with open arms from any reputable ministry willing to offer him both grace and truth---not one or the other. Peace.

I like one of the last sentences of this article: “who know if it’s real or not.” he he he

Will’s remark is hilarious.  Oh yes, the church “drove” Todd to drink and have an inappropriate relationship with a member of his staff. We should beg this false prophet for his forgiveness! (tongue firmly planted in cheek)

I never said that the church was in any way responsible for Todd’s failures.  But, to Todd R’s questions of “What did the church do to Todd that would make him want to give up on her”, the point is that the church is notorious, especially in this case, for turning their back on people that they once served closely with in ministry.  Doesn’t excuse the failure.

I don’t know what to think of Todd’s “revival” anymore.  I have seen him in person and was impressed by his speaking skills.  Unfortunately, I did not feel the presence of GOD in the room at the time.

After finding out about his emotional affair, all I felt was hurt and anger.  I have not felt this way in a very long time.  I don’t like to feel this way towards another person.  After all, we are all GOD’s children, even when we sin and fall short of HIS grace and mercy.  That’s when we have to ask HIM for forgiveness.  I don’t know if and/or when Todd has done that, if he will do that.

    Well Linda,
Never give up on the human entrepreneurial spirit, especially when it comes to marketing religious things, promoting angel worship, stage tricks, etc. The most recent news is that he has completed his divorce with his wife and kid/s (yes, a divorce involves and damages children & that is what he is doing to all of them)....and now is marrying the young lady he had the “emotional” affair with. We were always told to wait concerning this “revival.” The truth was sure to come out about this man. This does not only a bad reflection on just one man. It is a telling exposure of the discernment of the organization (and it’s leaders) who promoted him to celebrity status.  When something like this happens and the focus is on a man, God is not in it. Unfortunately (heartbreakingly) thousands did not listen to wise counsel.
