Interesting statistic: Only 12% left because they felt God's calling to leave. Hmmm... isn't that the reason EVERYONE ALWAYS gives when they leave?

Post Your Comments:I feel that many a pastor and staff member have found themselves in a situation that they either do not see the way of escape that God has for them (1 Cor. 10:13), or do not want to work out the issue, according to God’s will, so they just leave. If I find myself in a no win situation I must ask myself “Did I cause this, or is this something that God is using to close a door and open a window?” How many of us would be willing to go to the gulf coast after the hurricane has ravaged the area? What if a church had called you as Pastor and you were expected to come would you still go? We must learn that we go because God calls us, furthermore, we must stay because God called us into that ministry!
Heh… God “called you” to write this, didn’t He?
Off topic, but important, I think…
Tony, it says you posted at 4:38AM! Get some SLEEP, MAN! We all need to rest, some. Even super-pastors like you! Next thing you know, you’ll be switching jobs because you got fired for falling asleep at your desk!
(I hope Todd lets this one through… Seriously… you all need to get better sleep, you know that, right?)
