You Have To Give Him Props… Not Many Would Preach on I Samuel 25:22

You may have already seen this... it's making its round across the internet very quickly (I think I've been forwarded three or four times on this one). It's from a message from a KJV only baptist preacher talking about I Samuel 25:22. You have to give him a little credit for preaching on this verse... I don't think I've ever heard it mentioned in a sermon. However, I'm not sure how he pulled out of that verse that the translators of the NIV version of the Bible all "pee sitting down". You have to watch the whole clip to really appreciate it. After you watch it, I'd love to hear your thoughts...

You know it’s a good sermon when the word “pisseth” is used. I’m glad the good pastor has given us a new standard for evaluating masculinity. I was so....confused before.

This guy is the reason so many people laugh at KJV only preachers.
And yeah I guess since nobody has liked the sermon thus far (and he is proud of that) it warrants a five minute rant on pissing.

Just to due the guy justice, it is actually 1 Kings 14:10 (see Jeroboam reference). I wonder if I would still be a man if I sit down to read my bible in the Bathroom? Just a rhetorical question. . .

Great exegesis. I can’t wait to hear his take on Eze 4.

That was… really something.

He’s correct though, it’s used six times in the KJV.

1 Samuel 25:22
1 Samuel 25:21-23
1 Samuel 25:34
1 Samuel 25:33-35
1 Kings 14:10
1 Kings 16:10-12
1 Kings 21:21
1 Kings 21:20-22
2 Kings 9:8

I had no idea that the number six was the number of a man though. Wow. Gives a whole new meaning to the number or ‘name’ of the Beast…
